Meet Yugi
Yugi spent the first year of her life in a cat colony near Viscount before she and her brother, Yubi, were brought to the shelter in search of a better life. Since then, she's embraced indoor living with curiosity and enthusiasm. Every new toy, box, or change in her environment is something she simply has to investigate!
She's a playful, affectionate girl who comes running to greet her foster and isn't afraid to ask for pets . Wand toys are her absolute favorite, and she can often be found happily wrestling with her brother, Yubi, and her foster brother.
Yugi is still a little shy around strangers and can be nervous about being picked up, but she's making wonderful progress and grows more confident every day. She's also still learning that human hands aren't toys, so she may occasionally forget to keep her claws tucked away during play. With gentle redirection and continued positive reinforcement, she's improving all the time.
Yugi would thrive in a home that understands shy cats and gives her the time she needs to settle in. Once she feels safe, she'll fill your home with playfulness, curiosity, and affection.
Yugi is especially close with her colony brother, Yubi. They bring out the best in each other and would be thrilled to continue their journey together in a forever home.
