Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for SCAT. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to SCAT through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for SCAT to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, we will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use.
Sign up to do surveys through SaskWatch; every time you raise $10.00 or more you can donate it to SCAT; if you wait and donate after your total reaches $20.00 you will receive a tax receipt.
Other ways you can help:
Join the Kitty Krafters 4 Street Cat Rescue: An amazing group of dedicated people have banded together to knit, crochet, sew and create items that Street Cat Rescue sells at fundraising events. Turn your creativity into cash for the cats!
Build winter shelters to help stray / community cats survive through Saskatoon winters. Use basic carpentry skills to create life-saving winter shelters, which we distribute throughout the city to individuals who provide food and shelter to local strays.
List Street Cat Rescue as the charity of choice for memorial donations when a loved one passes; some plan ahead and include this in their own funeral planning. Tax receipts are issued to the donors.
Include Street Cat Rescue in your will. Larger donations are possible when you include Street Cat Rescue in your overall estate planning.
Have people bring a cash contribution or an item for the cats instead of Birthday presents. This is a favorite for young people!
At weddings, have your guests give a donation to have the Bride and Groom kiss in place of tinkling glasses. A great way to raise funds and awareness!
