Meet Yarbo
Yarbo was trapped and came to SCAT after visiting the same yard for food during an entire winter. When we met him up close, he turned out to be just a little guy, maybe not quite completely grown up. After hiding in his carrier for a couple of weeks, he suddenly remembered that he is a very social cat indeed. He is still nervous and may hide briefly from new people, but fundamentally he wants pets, love and to play a lot. We’d have to say he’s a bit needy and would benefit from a home with a bit of action and enough human presence to keep him entertained. Or maybe other animal friends, but we don’t know yet.
He can hug an arm happily without putting his claws out, but if really, really, excited – like if you dare to leave the room when he needs to play- those claws just grab.
He eats everything on offer so far and definitely uses the litter box like a champ. After a month with us, his soft grey fur is still a bit thin but growing out. He may need regular grooming to avoid nasty mats.
He is not on contract from the Yarbo vacuum people but may be related to Hank from Corner Gas.
