Meet Yam
Yam was a neighbourhood stray whose outdoor adventures had left him with various health issues (Cataracts, Kidney Failure, FIV+, Ear infections and dental disease) when he came into care at 8 years old. However he has been with his foster family for several years and has adjusted well to life with two permanent resident cats. He is now a geriatric 14 year old, he is bony and has random spells of loud hollering. He loves his forever foster home and is the proud “greeter” of the family, readily accepting cuddles and pets from visitors. We are happy we have such a great foster home for him to live out his days with happiness.
