Meet Xyla

Xyla is a small, pretty young lady who likes to take life at her own pace. She may be shy when meeting new people, but underneath that cautious exterior is an incredibly sweet girl who is learning that humans give great pets and are fun playmates!

Once Xyla starts to feel safe, you’ll be rewarded with adorable cheek rubs, happy flops, requests for pets, and even the occasional lap cuddle. Watching her confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of getting to know her. With time, she’ll be literally eating out of your hand! She’s curious, playful, and enjoys exploring her surroundings when she knows she’s in a safe place.

Xyla is looking for a patient adopter who will let her settle in at her own pace and give her many treats in the process. Once you’ve earned her trust, she has a real affectionate side and can be quite the cuddle bug!

She hasn’t yet met her foster brothers, but has previously lived well with other cats and is very curious about the meowing on the other side of the door!

When nervous or overstimulated, she may bite. Usually, it’s a light warning nibble that she needs space. At times, she may nibble lightly during pets or play.
