Meet Upsilon
Meet Upsilon (who goes by Freddie)! He is 3 years old, and is a sweet, affectionate, and enthusiastic boy. He likes to start his day off with breakfast (and will let you know if you’re late), and spend the rest of his day alternating between sleeping in the sun and playing with as many toys as possible. He is an especially big fan of laser pointers, feather wands, and balls. During the evenings, he enjoys curling up and purring on your chest while you’re watching television or reading. He's happy to sleep alone, but he will snuggle up with you on your bed overnight as well. When he’s thoroughly happy, he just can’t help himself and will often give you head butts, a few licks and ask for pets - he loves a good head massage. However, Freddie’s favourite pastime of all is heading outside on harness/leash and exploring the world while on a walk.
Thanks to his previous life as a stray, Freddie has a voracious appetite so it's best not to leave any food out on countertops or tables. He also has a penchant for chewing on anything made of foam — balls, shoes or toys — so it’s best to keep these items on a high shelf or in a cupboard. Freddie is a highly intelligent cat who responds to his name and will come when you call him — he meows and chirps, especially when it’s time for his walk or next meal. He’s also an excellent mouser (another acquired skill from his days on the road), and he has caught mice while on harness. Freddie prefers the company of humans and would thrive best as the only cat in a home — but he does get along very well with dogs. Freddie must be on a special diet for urinary tract health, but has no complaints, and especially loves his special wet food.
