Meet Rylee

Rylee, known as Bailey by his fosters, is a sweet 1 year old boy with so much love to give. If his adorably round face and tiny ears don’t draw you in, then his affectionate personality definitely will. Despite being young, Rylee is a very laid-back guy and prefers to spend most of his time hanging out and napping.

It’s easy to tell when Rylee is looking for some love: he’ll meow to find you, then walk up to you purring. If that doesn’t work, he’ll flop and roll over (still purring) and end up right beside you or on your lap.

Rylee’s favourite toys are anything that he can hunt; feather wands and moving toys under blankets are big hits. He also loves bird watching out the window and watching TV.

At his previous foster’s, Rylee had some issues with biting when his foster would leave the room, but he seems to have grown out of that with his current foster as he’s gotten a bit older. He takes a day or two to warm up to a new home, and isn’t a fan of loud noises, but he just finds a safe space to retreat and will quickly come out to be social again.

Rylee would thrive in a quieter house with anyone who is looking for a purring lap warmer. He is currently the only animal in his house and loves spending his time cuddling and hanging out near his people. He had some issues with an older cat at a previous foster’s, but would likely be okay with a cat that doesn’t mind company and would consider playing with him.

Rylee is young, clever, and so sweet, and despite all the changes he’s been through, he only has love for everyone.
