Meet Your Romeo
Sometimes cats just wait way too long to come into care, not because we don't care, but because there's just nowhere for them to land safely. That's the beginning of Your Romeo's story....
Many colonies have amazing caretakers, who not only feed and shelter, but keep an eye on overall health and the safety of their furry charges. But sometimes the neighbours just don't like cats in their "backyards". Unfortunately, this was the case for Your Romeo. He has been chased by snowmobiles, has been kicked and unfortunately, even potentially shot with bb pellets. So for his safety, he needed a new start in a new place, which took way too long to find - but that is his before story!
Although his path has changed for the better, it doesn't come without a cost. This sweet senior boy needs to learn to live indoors, become confident in new surroundings, and overcome his medical needs. Fortunately, his caretakers did an amazing job with keeping him as healthy as possible, but he's going to need a dental to remove broken canines from too many years on the streets and defending his territory. Once that has been done and he's all healed up, he will be adoption ready!!
