Meet Romaine
After raising her three kittens and surviving some tough years on the streets, Romaine has officially retired from motherhood and is ready to enjoy the good life in a forever home of her own!
Romaine can be a little nervous around new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet and affectionate personality really starts to shine. With someone she trusts, she absolutely LOVES attention! Head scratches, ear scritches, and booty pats are her favourite.
The quickest way to Romaine's heart is definitely through her stomach. This girl is a serious foodie, and nothing wins her over quite like some Fancy Feast pâté or some leftover chicken. Bring her a tasty snack and you'll be well on your way to becoming her new favourite person.
After spending so much of her life looking out for herself and her babies, Romaine will need a little patience as she adjusts to her new home. She would do best starting out in a smaller, quiet space, like a spare bedroom, where she can build her confidence and get to know her new humans at her own pace. Once she feels safe, you'll get to see just how much love this little lady has to give!
One of Romaine's most charming features is her adorable, almost permanent blep. Due to dental disease, she has had 20 teeth removed, but don't worry — she still eats hard food like a champ. Her little tongue just likes to make an appearance now and then!
Romaine has spent enough of her life taking care of others. Now it's her turn to be spoiled! She's looking for a patient, loving home where she can finally relax, enjoy all the snacks and scritches her heart desires, and live out her well-earned retirement in comfort.
