Meet Roam
Roam is a sweet, gentle, and good cat who is settling in and showing us more of his personality every day. While we can only guess about Roam’s past, we’re much more excited about helping him find the right future.
As his name suggests, Roam loves to explore! He is very smart, and loves checking out his surroundings, so he’d love a home where he can safely satisfy his curiosity and have plenty of cozy spots to retreat to when he needs some quiet time. He is food-motivated and loves to give head bumps and chirp at me while I prepare his food.
Currently, he is still recovering from a tail amputation surgery in his own room, but he seems very excited to meet my other cats. Every day we are learning more about him and as he is feeling better he is quickly becoming more affectionate and settling in. He loves chin scratches and will flop beside me and hold my hand with his paws.
We picture Roam’s ideal future as a home with lots of comfy places to explore, toys, treats, patient and understanding people, and perhaps some animal friends to keep him company. With a little time, patience, and a safe place to settle in, we’re hopeful Roam will discover that he’s found his place.
