Meet Panache
Panache is as majestic as she looks. She likes to keep up her aloof disposition - that is, until she decides it is time for food or pets! Pan has recently started vocalizing her demands with the sweetest trills and meows.
Pan came from a tough situation in Wynyard where she was one of 47 cats from an emergency rescue. She is still nervous around people and loud noises, but has been consistently gaining confidence. While she does still sometimes flinch when being reached for, she does love a good firm pet on her backend and head/cheek scritches. If you do a good enough job of petting her, she will reward you with some purrs and a show of her tummy (but not to pet - yet). Even when she is not in the mood to be pet or has reached her limit, she is incredibly polite and will simply and softly step on your hand to let you know.
Pan’s playful side is starting to show more and more. She loves a good wand toy session and chasing after her foster friend Pagoda.
Panache has had 19 teeth extracted due to dental disease (still able to eat hard food).
