Meet Pagoda
Pagoda (AKA Pog) is a tiny kitty with a big, silly personality. She came from a tough situation in Wynyard where she was one of 47 cats from an emergency rescue. Pog came into care with some health issues and had to have a couple of eye surgeries. She is all healed up now, as can be seen from her gorgeous blue eyes! Although she is still nervous around loud noises and sudden movements, she is gaining more confidence every day.
Pog is extremely curious and runs a tight inspection protocol with any and everything in your possession. Or, she might just be checking to see if you have any treats as she is very food motivated! She likes to be around people and will continuously circle her foster mom when she wants food or attention.
Pog is starting to learn that pets are nice, especially chin and cheek scritches! She quickly asserted her nightly sleeping spot on the feet of her foster parents. She seems very interested in befriending the resident kitties in her foster home, but they unfortunately do not feel the same way about her.
Pog has developed quite the playful side and loves to hunt and collect toys, stuffies, and hair scrunchies. While she enjoys playing with her foster friend Panache, she can also often be found on her own running around chasing toys and practicing her parkour techniques.
Pagoda has had 10 teeth extracted due to dental disease.
