Meet Opry
Opry came to SCAT after being found hiding under the hood of a vehicle with her littermate—a pretty scary start for such a tiny kitten. Understandably, she arrived as a hissy, hidey baby who wasn’t quite sure about these strange humans around her.
But Opry is learning that people might not be so bad after all… especially when they come bearing yummy snacks!
With lots of patience, love, and plenty of lickable “meat tubes,” her fosters have been gently helping Opry learn that being held, petted, and loved can be pretty wonderful. After just a few short weeks, she’s gone from hiding away to running to greet her foster family.
Opry is still learning, and she’ll need a little more time and patience before she’s completely comfortable as an indoor kitty. But every day, she’s becoming braver and more trusting.
Opry is looking for a family who will give her the time, patience, treats, and love she needs to become the confident kitty she’s meant to be.
