Meet Mavoureen (forever foster)
Mavoureen (Mavi) has been with SCAT since she was only a few weeks old! She had significant mobility issues and after investigation it was determined that she has a spinal deformity in her neck, a cerebellar herniation, and a syringomyelia. She was designated unfit for adoption as her long-term prognosis was unknown and she wasn’t expected to live long. Despite her poor chances, she has thrived in foster care and continues to defy expectations.
Mavi loves to cuddle and loves snacks. When the weather is nice she loves to spend time outside in her catio. She is a great surrogate mom to the other foster kittens. She gets laser therapy and acupuncture once per month to keep her limber.
