Meet James
James (goes by Jamesy) is fully embracing his new life as an indoor housecat after having a hard start to life on the streets. He is one of the most loving, snuggly cats that his fosters have ever taken care of. His favourite place to be is curled up in your lap or resting on your chest, and he loves crawling into bed at the end of the day with his humans (especially if belly rubs are being offered). Sometimes he forgets he is a cat and acts more akin to a human baby. He also has a very goofy and endearing snaggle smile that he will show you often!
Jamesy is very vocal and always has something to say. Because he loves to talk and cuddle so much, he would do best in a home that is able to shower him with lots of love and attention. Jamesy hasn’t been around other animals yet, but having another pet in the home may provide him with some extra companionship.
Jamesy will sometimes nip at his humans, but never aggressively. Otherwise, he is a very polite, playful and affectionate boy. Jamesy will be sure to fill his forever home with plenty of love, cuddles and laughter!
James has FIV, which is an immune disorder caused by a virus passed through deep bite wounds. Cats with FIV typically live a normal lifespan but it is recommended to have annual vet visits, be up to date on vaccines, and not be allowed to roam outside. While it is important that an adopter understand that there is a very minimal risk (especially during introduction periods where risk fighting could be heightened), many FIV+ cats cohabitate with other cats without issue or concern.
