I, Walnut (or just Walnut) is a friendly and handsome guy who is waiting for his purrfect family.
Against what his ample frame would suggest, Walnut’s greatest joy is people. With an easy-going personality and an endless supply of biscuits, Walnut is just happy to be included and would be a great match for any family. He loves to rub on people and is always ready to plop down next to you and have his belly rubbed.
Walnut is FIV positive, which is an immune disorder typically passed through deep bites. Cats with FIV can live long and healthy lifespans, but it is recommended to have annual vet visits to keep them in tip-top shape. While there is a risk of transmission to healthy cats (especially during introduction periods if there is fighting), the risk is minimal and many FIV+ cats can cohabitate with healthy cats without issue or concern.
