Meet I, Walnut
I was found outside this past winter looking for food and shelter and hit the jackpot when my finders took me in. I liked the other cats in the house, but they were set in their ways so I had to find others to cuddle with. I especially like sleeping on pillows, long naps in the sun, and looking to see where the humans went. I would do well with cats, dogs, or kids, or all of the above. I am a perfect boy looking for my perfect home. Will it be yours?
Walnut is FIV positive, which is an immune disorder typically passed through deep bites. Cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives, but it is recommended to have annual vet visits to keep them in tip-top shape. While there is a risk of transmission to healthy cats through fights, the risk is minimal and Walnut got along well with the cats in his finder’s home. Many FIV+ cats can safely cohabitate with healthy cats without issue or concern.
