Meet Gracie Mae

Gracie Mae came into care as a very ill, malnourished survivor of a tornado. She was found while the farm owners were cleaning up after the tornado, siblings were all dead and mother cat nowhere to be found. Gracie Mae was brought into care as a bottle fed kitten, but was so weak she required tube feeding. We weren't sure she would survive at first, and at the very least would lose her L eye. Gracie Mae is a fighter and, with excellent vet care, an incubator and good nourishment...she started to thrive.

She is still tiny for her age and we are careful in her recovery, she still needs some testing and vaccinations etc. And Gracie Mae is refusing to wean despite all efforts! She should be ready for adoption in a few weeks. She likes to run her own life and is very sweet and cuddly on her own terms! She's also very sassy.
