Meet Forklift Certified

Forklift Certified was found on the warehouse floor, but now he’s ready to clock into a permanent position as your cuddly companion.

After hitching a surprise ride on a freight delivery bound for Saskatoon (origin: who-knows-where Saskatchewan), he faced a harrowing first day navigating pallets and loading docks. He arrived on the job with some unfortunate injuries, including frostbitten ears, a broken tooth, and a wound on his tail requiring partial amputation. Thankfully, his WCB claim was approved and Forklift Certified has since completed repairs and is cleared for indoor-only duty.

About two years old, Forklift Certified is energetic, curious, and perhaps overqualified as a lap cat. A true micro-manager, he likes to shadow you throughout the day, making sure everything is running smoothly. He’s also not afraid to provide regular verbal feedback to keep operations on track. And while he isn’t especially interested in heights, he is an excellent jumper when the situation calls for it.

Highly food-motivated from long days on the job, he is polite and shows no aggression around meals. He does have a quirky way of eating though, insisting on scooping his dry food out of his dish and eating it one kibble at a time off of the floor. But don’t worry, he always cleans up after himself by eating every last piece!

Forklift Certified is looking for a home willing to respect his union rules: treats every shift, mandatory naps, and some trust-building time before trimming his nails.

At this time, his foster family believes he would do best as your one-and-only coworker, preferring a single-cat household, though it is possible that he would warm up to a feline friend in the future.

So, what do you say? Ready to make space for the safest heavy machinery your lap will ever host? Meet Forklift Certified today!
