Meet Edward
Eddie was cared for outside by a wonderful family that kept him warm and fed. He did run into trouble (another cat perhaps?) just before coming into Scat's care, so his first day was spent getting some stitches in his cheek. He also had to have his top canine teeth removed, but is otherwise in great health, especially considering how cold this winter was.
Eddie is a sweetheart who is talkative and loves to be petted and brushed. He is still adapting to being inside, but he loves the regular supply of food and attention. Brushing his gorgeous orange fur is a shortcut to his heart! He is climbing on his foster parents when they sit and giving solid head bunts, purring all the while.
Update: Eddie has turned out to be a fantastic companion cat! He will follow his humans around the house to see if he can help with anything and everything, and he has a running commentary going. He loves to have a morning snuggle after breakfast, and an evening snuggle during tv time. Sometimes the tv gets too loud or too stimulating and he'll leave, but he always comes back. He also loves to be carried around - he likes to see the view out of every window!
Eddie is currently happily sleeping in his own room, if that is something important to his new family.
