Meet Eden
Eden is a sweet, sweet girl who is still learning that people can be trusted. She was part of a trap and neuter program and spent some time with her finder on a farm before she came into foster care where she's been slowly adjusting to indoor life.
Eden is extremely shy and currently spends most of her days hiding under the bed or relaxing on top of the kitchen cabinets. She waits until things are quiet before coming out to eat and use the litter box, and sudden movements or noises continue to startle her.
Despite her fearfulness, Eden has a soft side that's impossible not to love. She loves head scratches and drools (quite a bit) with happiness while enjoying them, sometimes even purring. When she's feeling comfortable, she'll flop over, show her belly, and ask for more pets. Eden doesn't trust new people right away and will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Once she learns to trust, we know she'll have an abundance of love to give.
