Meet Bosriel
Bosriel is a beautiful torbie kitten who has blossomed into a confident and affectionate kitten in the months she has been with SCAT. Her mother and siblings have all been adopted, and now she is looking for a home of her own. She is a social cat who would thrive in a moderately busy to active home, and she is good with toddlers and older children. She is the sort of cat who might enjoy becoming an adventure cat: she even volunteers to go in the carrier because she knows that the carrier takes her to new and exciting places (i.e., other rooms of the house). Although she is petite, she is not lacking in personality!
Bosriel still has kitten energy, but she is not a “wild child.” She keeps herself busy with important kitten things, and she loves a good session with a wand toy, which really brings out her hunting instincts. She is still learning which surfaces are appropriate to scratch on, but she mostly uses scratchers (sisal rope or carpeted ones), and she is quite good about only playing with cat toys. She has not even pulled any ornaments off the Christmas tree! Although she is energetic, she is typically quite gentle as well, and she does not play with hands or feet unless the feet are covered, at which point she believes it must be time for a rousing game of Monsters in the Bed!
Mixed in with that playfulness is a heaping dose of affection. Bosriel is the type of kitten who will sleep with you at night (when she is not chasing toys around), and she is definitely going to be a lap cat when she gets older: she is already enjoying short cuddle sessions and is learning to enjoy being held. She will stand on her hind legs to give you a welcoming head butt. Bosriel may prefer to be the only cat in her home, but she should still adapt to other cats, if given a slow introduction, especially if the other cats don’t mind being bossed around by a kitten half their size.
She currently free feeds and enjoys both kibble and wet food. She has no health issues.
