Albert is a dapper little gentleman packed into only 7 pounds of pure chaos and curiosity. Albert zooms, pounces, explores, investigates, and occasionally startles himself with his own shadow.
Albert currently believes that petting is a government conspiracy and would prefer you keep your grabby hands to yourself, thank you very much. However, he will negotiate treaties in exchange for snacks—especially churu, which he has already mastered licking off his foster’s finger like a tiny, nervous hummingbird.
Albert can be a bit spicy when he's scared, but even when he’s feeling spooked, his curiosity gets the better of him. If there is a new smell, he must sniff it. A new game? He must try it. A new box? He must inspect it immediately—safety protocols demand it.
Socially, Albert has lived with other cats and has even tolerated living with large dogs, on the condition that they respect his personal bubble.
Albert is looking for a patient family who understands that trust takes time—and that he is worth every second. Watching him bravely conquer his fears and discover the world is pure joy (and occasionally comedy gold).
