Vale is a such a lovely girl! She was a stray that eked out a life around my acreage and neighbouring area for the past few years. She ate at a feeding station in my yard at night when my guard dogs were inside, then hit the jackpot when my kind neighbors allowed her to sleep in their heated garage at night. Sadly my neighbor moved away a few weeks ago and the new neighbors demanded Vale be removed from their property, so Vale became homeless during the extremely cold weather before Christmas. How this poor little girlie avoided the coyotes and all the other perils of being a stray in the country, I will never know! She has absolutely earned a happy ending; a life filled with love, cuddles, toys and treats!
Vale has been such a courageous girl. Even with losing her cozy, safe place to sleep at night, she allowed herself to be caught and currently lives in my heated garage with my own barn cats. Initially she was very nervous and scared due to so much change, but she has adapted incredibly well! She adores people and will chirp for attention. Her high speed, aggressive biscuit making never fails to make me laugh! She also has happy feet and makes air biscuits when you talk to her. She’s a smart little girl and figured out how to use a litter box instantly! She loves Temptations, but most of all she loves making biscuits and cuddling with her people. She even allows you to pick her up and carry her around! She has never shown any aggression toward me, even the first time I picked her up. It’s obvious that she may have started out in life with a family as she is very tame and friendly.
I’m working on amalgamating Vale with my own barn cat crew until she is adopted, and it’s going very well. She bunts my other cats with her head and wants to cuddle with them, but can still be skittish with their quick movements. Everyone is in the process of getting used to each other, but I’m so proud of this brave little girl. I’m sure with a slow, supervised introduction, Vale will enjoy a cat and/or dog and/or children friends. She has experienced so much change over the past month, and yet Vale is SO happy and has SO much love to give. Please consider giving this beautiful, little girl a forever home where she can live a spoiled, stress free, easy life. She absolutely deserves it!
PS: She’s much cuter in person than in her profile pics. She had just had her ears cleaned at the vet clinic and was completely unenthused when I took the pics. Her ears are pointing sideways in the pics, but they are normally pointed straight up! She is NOT a grumpy girl and loves being handled!
