Meet Uzuri

For 14 wonderful years, I’ve gone by the name Tori, and I still think it suits me perfectly! My foster family has called me Uzuri, which means "beauty," and I think that’s fitting too, because I’m a real gem. I enjoy being brushed, especially since my fur tends to mat, and nobody likes being uncomfortable! Plus, it’s a great excuse for extra attention, which I’m always happy to get.

Napping is one of my favorite activities. I love curling up under cozy quilts and blankets, or snuggling beside my favorite person. There's nothing like the warmth of a soft bed to make me feel content and secure. I'm also known for my quirky habit of holding my toys in my mouth and talking to them. I guess I think they need a little advice or just some friendly conversation! I’m also fascinated by water—one of my favorite pastimes is scooping it out of watering cans. It’s just so fun to watch the water splash!

When it comes to food, I’m a bit of a gourmet. I love my wet food, but I prefer it served in small portions—three meals a day works best for me. A little at a time is just perfect! I have a soft spot for wooly catnip toys and fuzzy crinkle balls; they’re the best for playtime, but nothing beats curling up for a cuddle once I’ve had my fill of fun.

I’m a friendly, loving cat who enjoys the company of everyone I meet. I get along wonderfully with other cats and children, and I’m always eager to make new friends. Whether you’re a visitor or a member of the family, I’ll greet you with enthusiasm and make sure you know just how much I love attention. I’m always ready for pets and affection, and I’ll happily ensure I get all the love I deserve!
