Meet Sardine
Are you in search of your forever feline friend? Look no further, because Sardine is ready to be your go to snuggle buddy and partner in crime. Sardine has taken a while to warm up to humans but lots of love from his previous foster has made him feel safe to show his sweet personality. Sardine is an energetic young cat who loves to play but is always up for some down-time on the couch, especially if chin scratches are involved. He takes a minute to warm up to new people but if you show him you can be quiet and safe, and with the help of his favourite licky treats, he'll be your best friend in no time. Sardine is excellent with other kitties and is currently working on winning over his current foster moms opinionated resident cat.
Sardine is excellent at using the litterbox. He likes to graze on his food throughout the day and will sometimes 'test' his water with his paw. A water fountain would not go amiss. Sardine loves to relax in high-up spots like windowsills or the top of the cat tower. Even though the big outside world is scary he does enjoy bird-watching from his kitty window seat.
Sardine was recently diagnosed with stress cystitis, which can be easily managed with a veterinary diet for cats who have experienced urinary issues. Adopters should familiarize themselves with the warning signs of cats with UTIs as these should be address sooner rather than later if they flare up.
