Reginald is a funny, laid back, and chatty guy who would be a great addition to almost any household. He gets along great with the cat and dog in his foster home and would probably do better with an all-adult home or with older kids since he can get a little intense when he plays. Reginald would love to tell you all about his day when you get home, give you all the deets on the neighbourhood goings-on, provide input on what the plans for the weekend should be - anything really, he just loves to chat! He also loves to play with the feather wand and will tell you (in no uncertain terms) when he thinks it’s play time! Even though Reginald loves to talk, he is very quiet at night and is used to sleeping in his own room.
Special needs: Reginald is blind in one eye due to retinal detachment, but he hasn’t gotten the memo yet so he acts like any other cat, running, jumping and playing like normal. That eye does not bother him at all, it is just non-functional. He is also being treated for glaucoma in his other eye but he has no problems taking his eye drops like a champ! The drops keep his eye pressure normal so he is able to see clearly and continue life as a normal kitty. His opthamologist recommends a quick eye pressure check once every three months at a regular vet clinic just to monitor his eye and make sure that everything stays stable. He has responded to his meds extremely well so his vet team is very hopeful that he will continue to thrive.
