Meet Outta Dodge
Outta Dodge is a sweet and sassy guy with years of living on the streets behind him. His bad boy past is evident by his frost-bitten ears, few remaining teeth, and moon-pie face. Today, Outta Dodge is not interested in adventures or causing mischief and prefers spending time in his cozy home with the people he loves.
Outta Dodge came to SCAT in terrible shape: bad upper respiratory infection, painful frost-bitten ears, and a mouth full of broken teeth. Thanks to SCAT, Outta Dodge received the veterinary care he needed to feel good again. Outta Dodge spent most of his life as a stray and is used to being on high alert and fending for himself. He’s been in foster care for just over six months and has blossomed into an affectionate and hilarious little guy who will make an amazing companion. His fur is incredibly soft and all his battle wounds have healed, but his new family will need to ensure his ears are looked at regularly by a veterinarian so they stay pain-free.
Outta Dodge would be happiest in a home where he can eat, snuggle, play, and explore as much as his heart desires. He is very affectionate and friendly with his favourite people, but is more reserved when strangers are around. He doesn’t hide; he just won’t approach or seek out attention from them. Despite his incredible progress, he might take a few weeks and a hundred treats to bond with his new family.
Outta Dodge loves playing with toys, rolling in catnip, and looking for treats. He loves treats so much, he will easily let you cut his nails while he gobbles up a Churu. His foster parents provide him with a rotating inventory of exciting new toys and treats to keep him active and enriched while he continues to gain confidence and build new bonds.
