Meet Norma

Little Norma lived her whole life outside before being scooped up. Luckily she had a kind person feeding her, but she had never been touched before. When her brother sustained a serious eye injury and he came into care, she tagged along too. Norma took her time with taming but now loves to be pet and will even approach her foster and flop for belly rubs. She still gets scared easily and when that happens she will hide or hiss but she is improving every day.

Right now we are working on exposing her to lots of attention and affection, toys, and good food and we feel that she is ready for adoption with some patient person/people willing to help her continue to socialize. She is very cute and playful and loves to chase and cuddle with other cats.

Norma has mild luxating patellas, which means that her kneecaps can slightly slip out of place. They don't seem to cause her any discomfort right now but the vets say to make sure to keep her from being overweight and a joint supplement can be used. She may develop arthritis at a younger age than most cats will.
