Zaria is a playful and social kitty. Although not the cuddliest of cats she gets very attached to her humans and wants to know about and watch everything they do. Her favourite hobbies are zooming; rubbing up against your legs, walls and doors; and chasing her toys around the house. When strangers are in the house she absolutely needs to know what is going on but will hover around the people she knows best. She sleeps in the bed with you against your legs so she is ready to protect if she needs to. She hasn’t jumped on any furniture she’s not allowed to be on and she quickly learned that using the couch as a scratching post is not allowed, so she uses the scratching posts regularly. She is a fantastic roommate with good manners, a big personality and a big presence around the house.
Zaria was originally found with ovarian tumors, which were successfully removed with no evident lingering symptoms or issues. While she will need to occasionally be checked out to ensure there are no remaining bad cells, she is currently in perfect health. She is a vet’s favourite patient who purrs through her vet appointments and happily cooperates at every stage.
