Decaf is a beautiful tabby with orange markings and petite features. She had difficulty adjusting to life with humans, but continues to make strides in her socialization process. Her foster family gets to see new facets of her personality all the time. She is quiet and calm as well as quirky and playful, and though she still gets skittish at unexpected sounds and movements, she likes to be where the action is and where the humans are. Decaf cuddles and plays with her foster sibling and would do well in a home with other pets, given appropriate time to adjust. She is shy with being handled, but will situationally make allowances with the humans she trusts. It will take time to build that relationship, but it is so worth it. When it is bedtime, Decaf will cuddle with her foster family, and in the morning she freely requests and accepts pets, all the while purring, head bumping, and kneading the air with her paws. At breakfast time she is chatty and will dance around your feet until you feed her. She would do well in a peaceful home with people (and pets) who will play with her and respect and yet work to expand her boundaries.
