Nocturne is a bit of a black female cat stereotype … in a good way. She’s very sleek, meows quietly when she wants pets, confident, will reach out and pull a food bowl toward her and away from another cat, enjoys sitting in the sun on an incline cardbaord scratcher. She bonds well with other cats in her foster home, even having her favourites to nap and play with. She loves the human’s bed and spends a lot of time lounging on it.
Nocturne hides from new people but doesn’t lack confidence with other felines. She maintains her boundaries and is good with sending out warning hisses to maintain her personal space.
Nocturne is a bit of an instigator and enjoys stalking for play. She’ll stalk and trip the back legs of a ‘prey cat’ like a wolf might do with a strong caribou. She loves to play with confident, friendly cats and as long as she has a good playmate, she doesn’t bother the other cats too much who don’t enjoy play-fighting as much as she does.
She’s also very athletic (fast, good jumper) so she enjoys runways and vertical space more than average. When she’s on the ground it’s mainly to lay in the sun.
Most of her photos are with other cats because she’s rarely alone! She really enjoys company for napping.
