Seven weeks ago Kradle plopped down in the middle of a noisy playroom and,
surrounded by children, gave birth to four beautiful kittens! Three blue
tortoiseshell daughters and one little orange son who was the smallest of
the litter. Since birth, these kittens have been surrounded by the bustle
and clatter of a house filled with children as her foster home has four of their own from
5 years old to 13. Kradle has taken good care of them: feeding them, licking
them, teaching them to use the litter box (no accidents yet!), teaching them
manners, keeping track of them so that they don’t get lost or into trouble.
All the kittens are used to children and being handled by kids. They and
Kradle are played with regularly by our four and have had frequent play
visits from the kids’ cousins also. We don’t know yet how they would do with
dogs or strange cats, but think Kradle and kittens would easily adapt to
other animals. They are very friendly and social—eager to come greet their
human family and hang out with their people. No signs of aggression or fear.
Kittens are cute, but don’t forget about Kradle when considering a new
addition to your family! She is a sweetheart—loves being around her people,
talking with her people, and hanging out near them. Or better yet, take
Kradle and a kitten and let her do the work of looking after and training
your new bundle of delightful mischief.
Estimated date of birth is May 12, 2019.
