Juniper

Juniper

Juniper is a cute as a button little tortie who was found as a friendly roaming stray, she can still be a bit nervous in new situations or meeting new people and may run for cover but she can be lured out easily with soft low tones and promises of pets. She is very curious and you will often see pictures of her where she seems to be trying to get a closer look at the camera with wide eyes.

Juniper loves to be up high and watch the hustle and bustle of the day, but when things calm down she is happy to come and check in on her people and ask for some pets and cuddles. She is non-confrontational with other cats but isn’t rough and tumble and would prefer a feline companion that isn’t too rammy.

Juniper is not food motivated- in fact she is a picky eater but we are slowly learning her favourites (chicken or salmon pate seem to be the top two right now), she eats some dry but doesn’t care for it too much- she would be a cat that would be able to free feed.

Her favourite things include: toys on a string to bat; sleeping on the bed (she does have a tendency to wake up in the middle of the night); and sitting in the screened window with a breeze blowing. Like many cats, Juniper enjoys making biscuits with her front paws, but prefers to do it from a standing position.

Estimated date of birth of Juniper is November 27, 2015.
