Bridget came into foster care as a petrified cat, but slowly came out of her shell and turned out to be a love bug. When she wants attention she will follow and brush against your legs, or hop on your lap and chest to block what you’re doing so you pet her. She will tolerate being picked up, but not for very long. She decides very suddenly when she doesn’t want to be touched anymore and will let you know by swatting and biting, but she is slowly learning to not use her claws as much.
No matter how much she’s had to eat she always wants more so she needs someone who will schedule feeding for her as she is already overweight. She’s still scared of loud or unfamiliar noises and hides whenever there’s the sound of someone at the front door; even the cat tree when it first arrived was terrifying. She would likely not do well in a loud home, with children, or other animals.
Estimated date of birth is September 6, 2014.
