Maestro

Maestro

Maestro is a sweet, fun-loving guy who always greets his people and their guests at the door. He loves meeting new people and will usually flop over for a belly rub as his way of saying “hello”!
During the day, Maestro can usually be found lounging in the sun in his cat tree or spread out in the dog’s giant, plush bed. In the summer, Maestro loves to put on his harness and leash and sit outside watching the birds. In the winter, he still runs to the door with a hopeful skip, but he doesn’t try to escape because he knows it’s too cold for him.
Maestro absolutely loves kids and would be a wonderful addition to a home with young children. He is good with other cats but can be a bit of a bully at play time, so would be best with a cat who likes to play rough, like him. Maestro is good with dogs but has a healthy respect for them. He has only been exposed to big dogs so it is unknown how he would take to a small breed dog.
Though he is growing out of his kitten craziness, Maestro still has plenty of energy and requires a fair bit of stimulation. He’ll play with just about any toy but his favourites are definitely the laser pointer and those miniature foam soccer balls that you get from the pet store! Maestro’s new family will definitely want to play with him lots during the day so that he isn’t looking for attention overnight.
Maestro is a curious little dude that isn’t afraid of much. He loves to explore, climb in and out of boxes, and people-watch through the window. Maestro uses his litter box faithfully and has never had an accident. Ironically, his favourite room in the house is definitely the bathroom! He is obsessed with water and enjoys staring into his reflection in the tub and toilet.
Maestro is super snuggly and loves to cuddle. However, he prefers if you let him come for snuggles after you’ve found a comfy seat, as opposed to picking him up and trying to get him to sit with you. Having said that, he loves to be carried around, perched on your arm, so he can see the house from your vantage point!

Estimated date of birth is July 26, 2017.
