They are working with her, expect progress as she is still young, and would be happy to send her to a permanent home with experience in dealing with extremely timid cats. Allee has really come into her own living in her foster home – a calm, confident cat! She loves anything with catnip, and if the other foster kittens have something she wants, she steals it, lol. You always know when she is playing, because of the meows and chirps she makes! Always has to be talking!! She is learning that snuggles are good, but only in the mornings will she crawl up into her foster’s lap. Otherwise, she is just looking for a pet as you walk by. Alvin is a sweet, loving, handsome boy with the heart of a kitten! He loves to run laps around his foster family’s house as fast he can and to play with as many toys as he possibly can. During his mellow moments he likes to curl up on someone’s lap or on the softest blanket he can find. He enjoys watching out the window and likes to greet guests as they come through the door so he can quickly become friends with them. Although Alvin can be mischievous and occasionally naughty, he is an intelligent boy that will learn quickly with a firm hand! Please remember that Alvin needs to go to a home with no other cats but dogs are ok! Alvin is FIV+ which means doesn't necessarily mean a shortened life span, just that he has a weakened immune system and would do best in a low stress environment. Estimated date of birth of Alvin is November 7, 2013.

Batman really is a good kitty. He is very opinionated and quirky, he loves attention and will come running when you call his name. He is very affectionate and is a total lap cat. He is good with other cats but takes time to adjust to change. He is good with kids and visitors. He is a great boy with lots of personality but he has issues that he will probably have for the rest of his life and needs a family that understands that. Batman is quite a special kitty. He was hit by a car and sustained serious injuries. He suffered a broken pelvis and required his tail be amputated. These injuries have left him with some permanent nerve damage that affects his digestive tract and still causes him pain. He has mild megacolon that requires him to be on an inexpensive medication, lactulose, that is given with meals twice daily. He also needs to be on an easily digestible food that is readily available to him, a few veterinary diets have worked very well for him. He also has some lasting chronic pain which is treated with a pain medication given 3 times a day. Also due to the lasting affects of his injuries, he is sensitive about his hind end and stomach, so unfortunately no bum pats for him but he loves head pats and neck rubs. Bruce has had a few urinary tract infections since being with SCAT but has not been positive for any in the last year, we still check his urine at his annual check up and watch for signs that he could have one. Because of nerve damage, defecating can be painful for him at times so he does like to have a few options for litter boxes, he is also pee pad trained but he still likes to try and wait until his fosters get home to have his pee. Always having fresh water or a water fountain has encouraged him to drink more and to pee more consistently. Bruce really is a very affectionate, loving character that just wants a home of his own. He will shower his family in kitty love and be a great feline companion. We think he would adjust fine to calm dogs. If you think you might be the one to give this handsome boy the attention and love he deserves, contact us for more information. Estimated date of birth is October 11, 2008

Big Cindee is a stunning cat with the most beautiful black coat her foster has ever seen. And does she ever keep it clean! She is very quiet but playful and will even play fetch with her favourite toy. Plus, she's great in the car. Big Cindee is a sassy, feisty, and confident girl but she respects the resident cats' space.  She is very interested to meet new foster cats so she would likely blend in well with a cat or two that will accept her. Her people manners need some work and she has to learn that biting is not the way to show love. Big Cindee has been a bit snippy when meeting new people but she did settle in very quickly at her foster home.  We are confident that she will mature into a lovely cat but right now we would not recommend a home with small children.   Big Cindee's estimated date of birth is April 7, 2018. Bridget came into foster care as a petrified cat, but slowly came out of her shell and turned out to be a love bug. When she wants attention she will follow and brush against your legs, or hop on your lap and chest to block what you’re doing so you pet her. She will tolerate being picked up, but not for very long. She decides very suddenly when she doesn’t want to be touched anymore and will let you know by swatting and biting, but she is slowly learning to not use her claws as much. No matter how much she’s had to eat she always wants more so she needs someone who will schedule feeding for her as she is already overweight. She’s still scared of loud or unfamiliar noises and hides whenever there’s the sound of someone at the front door; even the cat tree when it first arrived was terrifying. She would likely not do well in a loud home, with children, or other animals. Estimated date of birth is September 6, 2014.

He will always meet his people at the door when they get home even if they were gone for just a few minutes. When its feeding time he has trained his people to follow him to his dish! Cara is a sleek and elegant black cat with a snowy tuft on her throat and amazing silvery/pale green eyes. She’s meticulous about keeping herself clean, but not finicky about what she eats. Now that she has shaken off the responsibilities of motherhood, Cara can take time to be a kitten herself. She loves something to chase, and someone to wrestle with, and will gladly help you with sweeping, sewing, yoga or any other stupid thing you choose to do when you could be playing with her. She knows when she’s being naughty, and sneaks s-l-o-w-l-y into the places she knows she shouldn’t go — and when you catch her, she throws herself backward in your arms, snuggles into your neck, and purrs. Because she was found outdoors, Cara needs to be watched when the door opens, but she isn’t pushy about wanting to go out. She’ll sometimes wait quietly by the door, but if you ignore her, she’ll find something else to do. A window with birds can keep her entertained for hours! Cara's date of birth is July 9, 2016.

If you will play with me I will be very happy.  I can be quite vocal when asking for treats or pets. I love scratches at the base of my tail and I purr and flop around while getting attention.  I especially love a moving target that I can pounce on. I love to climb the cat tree and watch out the windows. I too have my preferences for when humans play, cuddle, and let me be by myself. I LOVE temptations treats and picking the stones out of the water dish. I get along well with my siblings and can't wait to play with the dog I touch noses with through the gate. Cienna is a fun and friendly cat who needs a forever family with the patience to earn her trust and get her out of her shell. She is very shy at first, taking to hiding under beds and couches, but she still enjoys company while hiding and is happy to have someone scratch her ears while safely tucked away. Once she gets more comfortable, she’s happy to wander around and explore. She’s very curious and likes to investigate everything she sees or smells! She can be chatty while she’s exploring, meowing at anyone who will listen, but she hasn’t ever meowed while her fosters are sleeping, meaning everyone gets a good night’s sleep even while she’s exploring and playing. Cienna is more active in the night, especially from 8pm to 8am, but she’s starting to realize it’s safe to come out during the day too, and has even taken to sleeping on top of beds instead of under them. She’s always happy to have her ears and back scratched, and even likes belly rubs! She is very gentle but skittish, and runs away from loud noises, sudden movements, and strangers, though she’s getting more confident with every day! Cienna would do well in a quieter house with no small children. She could probably get used to having other pets around (especially other cats, dogs may be very scary to her) if you were willing and able to introduce her slowly and let her learn she’s safe around them. Cienna is in a foster home with her sister Chrissy.  They get along well and could be adopted together if you are looking for a pair. Estimated date of birth of Cienna is August 9, 2015.

Dina was abandoned with her two kittens after her owners moved away and left them in the yard. She had a collar embedded in her skin when she came to SCAT and luckily we had a foster home come available and were able to bring them into our program. Dina clearly had a rough go and can take a while to warm up to people, and can be nervous as she isn't sure if the person is going to respect her boundaries or hurt her. Right now Dina will sit with people she trusts and enjoy pets on her head but she isn't comfortable with people touching around her body or tummy. We aren’t sure what happened in her past but she seems to be more distrustful of men than women so she may be slower to warm up to men than women but should she be given time to build trust she should fit into a quiet home with men or women. Her favourite activity is to sit by the window on "neighbourhood watch" and check out who is out and about in the neighbourhood that day! We know Dina needs a special home but we also know that home is out there-if your home is quiet and you are finding you have space in your home and heart for a quirky girl who was dealt a rough hand in life apply to meet Dina today!

So let me tell you what you get if you adopt this awesome duo: 1. One Cute tabby and white potentially mixed with some smooshed face cat boy (Shane), and one missing his back right foot- walks with a swagger as a result- slightly bowling ball shaped panther (Dougie) 2. A lap cat that will snuggle you whenever you let him – Shane, and a cat that is actively seeking out pets now with small bats and the tiniest meow squeak- and it is adorable - Dougie 3. Hours of entertainment as you watch them play, cuddle, and groom one another 4. One cat tower (Dougies) and a roller cat track (also Dougies) 5. Bragging right that you have the coolest cats in town While previously thinking that Shane could go anywhere and Dougie would need a quiet household Dougie has now accepted pets from children as young as one year old (so long as his feet are up off the ground even one ft would do- just not directly on the ground) and could fit into most homes that will give him time to settle in and gain his confidence. Cat Savvy kids that understand that cats aren’t toys would be required (but we hope that for all of our cats!). If you think you could open your home to the two coolest cats in town please consider adopting Shane and Dougie! Estimated date of birth is October 26, 2016.

Eddie can be very sweet and affectionate but he is also unpredictable. You'll think he's happy while you're petting him but then he bites, and hard. He also is known to attack while you're unsuspecting and just walking by. And it's a vicious wraps his legs around you and latches with his teeth. He is much better now then when we first had him. I believe if he's moved he will go right back to how we was at the beginning. He is very very sensitive to being touched at the base of his tail and his tummy. He does love to cuddle. Evelyn was taken into SCATs program in February of 2017 as a heavily pregnant stray- all her babies have been adopted and we want to find a special home for her as well!  In the months we have known her we have found that she is tiny but fierce- sometimes she becomes quite anxious or overstimulated (I am sure many people can relate!) and on occasion this leads to her biting quite hard when people don’t read her signs, which can be subtle but  her foster can talk to you about them. She needs to be in a home where all the members can read cat body language to notice when she is getting spicy and let her have time to decompress, so a home with kids is not recommended. Aside from the occasional periods of overstimulation she is a lovely chatty lady who loves pets and people, and can have bouts of playfulness. She is currently living with other cats but picks on the more submissive one when she gets the jump on her so if she was to go into a home with other pets they would need to know how to stand up for themselves or enjoy the occasional chase. Evelyn is listed as special needs as she is on an anxiety medication to help her relax and be less spicy and it helps her quite a bit. They are relatively inexpensive and should not be a deterrent to  adopting for the majority of adopters! Estimated date of birth of Evelyn is January 25, 2015.

Fairway Willie has Feline Leukemia (FeLV), which is not cancer but a lifelong virus that supresses the immune system and can be spread between cats through casual contact (grooming, sharing water/food dishes/litter boxes). As it can result in a shorter lifespan and medical issues later in life we do not adopt out FeLV cats into homes with other cats- but it does not affect other species, and cats with FeLV can cohabit with dogs, birds, lizards, children etc. FeLV cats need patient owners with big hearts who are willing to monitor their health and understand that while their time together may not be as long it will still be filled with love and very rewarding.

He loves to play the day away either by himself with a variety of toys or with his feline foster siblings he has convinced to be his friend. He also loves people, and will adorably head bump you repeatedly as a greeting when you wake up. Fender likes to make himself at home at the foot of your bed at night so he knows when you are a awake so he can give you love bumps first thing! As Fender is unfamiliar with children and can become excitable and "mouth" or "love bite" (places mouth but doesn’t bite down) so a home with older children that can understand this behaviour or no children would be preferred. In the past Fender has struggled with inappropriate urination, but in his new foster they have been able to control his inappropriate urination with environmental stimulation and specialized diet. He is on the c/d stress diet and eats it happily- he would need to remain on that diet for the duration of his life. Additionally he would do best in a neighborhood where there are no roaming cats as strange cats can stress him out and stress can trigger inappropriate urination which we want to avoid for sure. His fosters love him- he is super sweet and deserves a special home! Estimated date of birth of Fender is February 2, 2016.

First seen on Friday, she was rescued on a December Sunday when the temperature was - you guessed it, Saskatoon, - -30 something degrees. Alas, she was huddled into a frozen, icy mass. Her ears have frozen and fallen off and the tip of her tail had to be amputated. She has obviously had a very traumatic past and is timid. Friday now has her own warm room with lots of toys and foster Auntie is working patiently with her and longing for the day, which is not yet, when she can just scoop Friday up for big hugs and kisses. Friday loves playing with toys and thinks that the soft toys need to be washed - these are often found floating and soaking in the water dish. Friday has now met the other foster kitties in the home and, although she seems to want to be friends with everyone, the truth is that she prefers the boys. A very petite adult cat, surprisingly, Friday is turning into a tomboy who especially loves to corner and wrestle with a retired tomcat three times her size. Friday and her human Auntie have "meowy" conversations - Friday likes to converse. However, she is still fearful of being picked up. For now she only lets Auntie pet her and scratch under her chin while she is sitting securely in the corner of her window sill. (Tear stains mark her face and these will wash off. Unfortunately, when we had the camera she was not in the mood for a facewash.) Estimated date of birth of Friday is July 1, 2008.

This very handsome boy is looking for a patient home that can help him with his anxiety. He was bounced around between at least 3 homes before being surrendered to be euthanized because he got in a fight with the resident cat after only two days of integration (this would be considered very common adult cat behaviour on meeting for the first time- we recommend a 2-4 week period for any cat/kitten introduction). He likes to say in his safe foster room and hasn't gone exploring or got a look at the resident kitty in the home so we cannot say how he would react now but since he has been neutered and given his timid disposition we think if done properly he could cohabit with other cats. Gemini's ideal home would be an adult only (or older/calm children or young adults) who will give him time to settle in before he opens up to them. He is likely to bond with his people but we wouldn't be surprised if he hid from guests until he knows them. This poor boy has already been bounced around so much can you offer him the truly forever home that he deserves?

Giselle will sit up for treats like a small pooch. She is a particular little lady, still startled by sudden noises, but appreciating a good pet and massage session when things are calm. Her lovely tabby person is decorated with hints of orange. From a family of manx-cross kitties, it was Giselle who had the most of what could be called a tail. Her little half tail is very comical to watch, but she is sensitive that people will laugh at her. In fact, she has none of the confidence of the natural beauty that she is, and would very much prefer a quiet home, probably without other kitties, and with very patient people. Estimated date of birth of Giselle is June 1, 2007.

The sweetest thing. ..that is the way everyone describes little Glenn. Glenn started his life on the rough side, likely a farm kitten. Glenn was thrown out of a car onto the highway when he was about 6 weeks old. He sustained several injuries which healed over time but the most serious, an injury to the nerves in his left front leg resulted in paralysis. We have been trying to recover sensation and movement but it is likely Glenn will need an amputation. Glenn loves life and is an active happy little soul despite his disability. He has stolen the hearts of his foster family. ...he is simply the sweetest thing. Estimated date of birth is September 15, 2017.

This is Granderson....yes he is named after the Blue Jays outfielder. His brother, Garcia, is named after the pitcher. Granderson is an excellent ball player.....he loves balls....fuzzy ones....hard ones.....any kind of ball. He’s known to carry a special one around in his mouth so that his other 4 black siblings can’t steal it. He’s the biggest and heaviest one of the bunch.......and very mature and mischievous!!!! I think he’ll grow up to be a large sleek handsome boy.  In many countries including Asia and Europe, black cats possess strong powers of good. I believe this to be true. Since I began the busy life of fostering these 5 little black bundles my life has been blessed......with peace and joy.  These little kitties came into my life when I needed these “little teachers” to show me joy, commitment, perseverance, forgiveness and most of all laughter.  Estimated date of birth is May,31,2018.

Hi, my name is Hawley! Or at least that's what the hoomuns here call me. Secretly though, my name is Anastasia. I'm the long lost daughter of the last Russian Czar. I like to keep hidden when people come so that they don't know I am here. But for my resident hoomun, I have much affection for because she keeps my secret well...and she knows the best spots for scrunching. Ahhh, yes. I do love to run around and play on my own, most of the time at night so that people don't see my silly side. After all, a princess has an image to maintain. I love watching the world through the front window especially the birds at the feeder and any cats roaming by. I need to make sure they don't invade my territory. In the summer, I love spending time out in the front screened in porch. I often even sleep out there. In the winter I have a wonderful heated bed placed by the front window. It's perfect for my neighbourhood watch. Sometimes I spend time sitting by the resident hoomun and sometimes she brings out the special brush which I really really like. I like treats too, but, not always. I do have to watch my girlish figure after all. Dasvidania ESTIMATED DATE OF BIRTH: 26 May 2007

Very chatty he can continue conversations endlessly and follows his foster everywhere taking advantage of every opportunity to snuggle. He gets along well with other cats and the resident dog. The dog however is deeply suspicious of Hiccup and his unusual behavior. Hiccup is also a special needs cat. He has a chronic inflammatory bowel disease which requires a very strict veterinary diet. Hello, my name is Kamil. After being rescued by SCAT I have been patiently waiting for my forever family. I love to chase the red dot, and strings all around the house. I am still learning to play with the resident cat, but she doesn't always want to play rough and tumble like me, so my fosters think toys are best. My purr box is quiet, but mighty, especially if you massage my scalp and shoulders for me. I’m sometimes a lap cat for attention, but usually I'd rather boop your legs to let you know I'd like some pets. I enjoy curling up with you in bed for lots of love once I am all played out, after that I usually sleep the night away at the foot of the bed. Will you shine the laser pointer for me? He is practically perfect in every way.  He just needs awesome owners now!   Kimo is on a urinary + clam diet and does need a higher sided litterbox (he doesn’t always remember to squat low but he’s a big boy and he’s doing his best!). Lana is mostly a grey tabby with the occasional ginger couloured highlight. Still a bit timid but very curious, Lana likes pats, especially when in the course of eating her dinner which she likes served on a high perch away from her busybody siblings. She is intrigued by people and loves to watch them from a certain distance. She is the sister of Li'l Kim. Lana and Li'l Kim have made a lot of progress and in a regular home environment may make the final steps to perfect companions.  Both like to cuddle on laps but will startle easily and not comfortable with being picked up yet.  They are gentle ones who have never bit or scratched.  Also have very good litter box manners. Please note that Li'l Kim and Lana were exposed to the Feline Leukemia virus at a young age. Advanced testing shows that they are not able to infect any other cats and as such are able to cohabit with other cats- but there is a small possibility that they may develop diseases related to the disease later in life. However there is a chance that any cat you adopt would develop diseases later in life so shouldn’t be a deterrent to adopting these wonderful girls! Estimated date of birth of Lana is August 8, 2013.

Lizzie is the cutest little orange tabby female. She raised her babies on the streets Lizzie was trapped and brought in. After years of fear Lizzie grew leaps and bounds seeking out pets from strangers and becoming one of the Centre “greeters”. Unfortunately for Lizzie the other cats love to chase and swat at her, things can get quite heated and while she doesn’t seem to instigate she is so frequently the target we are looking for Lizzie to be in a forever home where the other resident pets ignore her or where she can be on her own spoiled until the end of her days. From her time on the streets Lizzie does have a strong fear response, so when you first try and pet her you will see a big fear response (eye grow wide, cowering) but if you are patient and leave your hand out she will often turn her head for a little bump and you can then pet her. She will swat if she then feels unsafe (most often a soft bop with no claws) and then either re-evaluate and ask for more pets or run away to a safer vantage point to reassess the situation. She was quite loving at the Centre and we think if given time to settle in and determine that you do not intend to eat her she would become a great companion for someone who is ok living with an independent lady. Lizzie loves pets once she knows you but has not enjoyed being picked up at all in her time with us (though many cats don’t like being handled that way!). Please help us find Lizzie the perfect home for her, as an only cat with someone with a patient heart who doesn’t mind a spicy girl who you will definitely grow to love in all her quirks! Estimated date of birth of Lizzie is January 8, 2011.

Her tail is thick and fluffy but she does not like to have it brushed, nor her back end, and she is sensitive about having her paws touched. Otherwise she is gentle, purrs quietly and gazes up while sitting in a lap. Lolita is a spunky and spirited kitty who would love to explore and run. Lolita loves her iPad games and takes it over from her foster mom all the time, she even got to play the game on the big TV once and found that to be quite fun! She still runs and hides when there's new people/strange sounds but is very loving with people she is comfortable with! She tests positive for feline leukemia (FeLV) so must go to a home with no other cats but would love some people and a dog could be tried. Estimated date of birth of Lolita is October 30, 2014. Marvin is a very friendly and patient cat with people. He is happy to see them and comes right away to greet them. He likes to sit with people and occasionally gets very lovey, rolling around, kneading his ‘happy paws’ and giving tiny licks – it’s adorable! He seems to be wary of men, but warms up eventually. Just use your baby voice! Marvin loves going outside in a kennel or for walks with a harness and leash. He is a smart boy and he enjoys food puzzles and learned to use the cat wheel very quickly in his previous placement. He knows his name and will come when called. Marvin has had issues with being bullied by other cats and getting upset with outdoor cats coming around so we think he would do best as an only cat. He is fine being around dogs as long as they respect his space, otherwise they will get a swat. He can scratch at carpet sometimes but should be fine if provided with horizontal and vertical scratching posts; scratch deterrent stickers also work for problem areas.

This is what Munchkin's foster had to say about him: "Munchkin was in boarding when I became a foster. My heart broke when I had learned he had been there for a few months and that his previous adopters returned him. Upon meeting Munchkin I learned he is a large and heavy tabby boy with a heart as big as his stomach. Munchkin took a few days to adjust to being back in a home environment and also being around two other kittens who were very curious about him and full of energy. Munchkin warmed up to his foster brothers, Atticus and Theodore right away. Munchkin loves to play with his foster brothers and often partakes in the battle for who gets to sit on the top perch of the cat tree. Munchkin shows his love in his own way, he is not overly cuddly but he loves head and chin scratchies. He always gives good night kisses and stays at your feet while you sleep. Munchkin has been trained to lay on his blanket and he tends to do this very well as he enjoys his soft blanket. He rarely climbs onto your lap and prefers just to be near you, within petting reach of course. Munchkin is a very calm and relaxed cat but he can be very vocal, especially in the morning when he wants to be fed, he knows his feeding routine and will let you know if you’re taking too long to fill his dish! Munchkin also enjoys belly rubs and catnip bubbles. While he is thriving in his home environment with his foster brothers, sometimes they drive him a bit crazy with their never ending energy! Munchkin is a great companion and since he gets along with other cats (with some time), he would do well in either a single or multi-cat home. He seems to be good around children (however he hasn’t been around any children under the age of 8). Munchkin’s easy going personality and calm demeanour makes him a great addition to any household, however I think he would do very well in a quiet environment as the only cat, and perhaps with someone older who is looking for a companion. Munchkin is the biggest sweetheart and while he loves his foster mom and brothers, he would love to find his forever home! He is great at keeping your feet warm at the end of your bed on those cold winter nights. He’s basically a small furnace. Estimated date of birth is February 9, 2012.

Here is what Natasha's foster mom has to say about her: Natasha loves humans. She spends her time in her own room in her basement and I spend quality time with her. She loves to lie with me on a lounge I have down there and she will stay so for as long as I can stay. Natasha loves her food so needs monitoring with food. She likes toys, especially laser toys and a ring with ball and cardboard scratcher inside. She really loves catnip and swoons with it. Natasha does not like to be brushed/combed nor to have her claws trimmed. I think this comes from some early trauma. She likes petting on her head, under her chin, around her ears and cheeks and around her neck, but not so much further on her body. Natasha is a quiet kitty and really does not demand much. Since Natasha has lived in her own room and spends a lot of time on her own, I think she would do nicely with someone who works long hours and wants a loving kitty when they come home. She would really like a whole house to run about in and explore. Natasha is a loving kitty but she fears other cats immensely. She hisses, growls and tries to hide or cringes in a corner. Of course this right away sets off other cats and no good happens. When Natasha gets alarmed in this way or any other, she does become defensive so anyone with her needs to know this. Estimated date of birth of Natasha is April 22, 2010.

Although I don’t like new places it doesn’t take long to adjust and once I do will be you constant companion until its time to feed me then I'll be busy but only momentarily! I love belly rubs and chin scratches from humans I know but it does take me a little time to warm up and adjust to new humans touching me, but I know they wont hurt me so I just stay still, don’t worry, I don’t bite or scratch! Can you imagine all the fun we can have together? It would be so awesome! I would love to have some other cats to play with when you decide I’m awesome and take me home, but am fine being the only cat in the house, like I said just rub my belly and I am good! Estimated date of birth is March 8, 2018

Rise is a sweet and friendly but timid little girl. She is light on her feet and a very polite, clean and quiet cat. Most times she goes unnoticed she is so quiet. Rise naps hard but also plays hard. When she hears the bell from her feather wand she is halfway in the tunnel waiting to play. This girl would probably do best in a quieter household. While she is still a little hissy with her foster brother (he doesn't give her much space) she will play amongst him and they've been caught sleeping on the same bed. She would do well with a cat friend. Rise has Feline Leukemia (FeLV), which is not cancer but a lifelong virus that supresses the immune system and can be spread between cats through casual contact (grooming, sharing water/food dishes/litter boxes).

Robi shows his affection either by sitting beside you in your chair or on your lap, that is, if no other cat beats him to it. When he is hungry, Robi will roll over and rub against you most affectionately. He doesn't seem to be able to meow. Instead, he squeaks. He has his quiet moments and then, there are his wild times when he runs about the house in exuberant rushes. He loves the scratch stands and uses them faithfully. When you are washing dishes, Robi will be right up there with you stealthily making his way across the sink in front of you to request more food. He loves playing with his other foster buddies and is fine with the dog. He would love to sleep with you  too. Robichaud needs a special diet. Estimated date of birth of Robichaud is June 14, 2011.

Rockwell is a quiet, gentle and playful kitten who purrs from the moment he wakes up until the moment he falls asleep! He loves to play with his foster brother Reid (also available for adoption) and has adjusted well to the dog in his foster home. Rockwell has extremely soft fur, perfect for petting, and he loves to make dough, perhaps his forever home has a bakery and needs some extra help? Although he would like to be adopted with his best playmate Reid, Rockwell would also do well as an only kitten. Estimated date of birth is June 27, 2018

Shane and Douglas Fur are the most iconic duo at the Centre, despite dozen of adoring fans, being featured in the newspaper, and their own hash tag #ShaneandDougie that I use on my private account on Instagram – still no applications!

Udo has been on TV and is a go-getter. He has a very affectionate and sweet nature. When you pick him up he will kiss your face. When he wants to get your attention he will jump up and touch your hand with his paw. He is such a clown and loves to meet new people. He would do well with an owner who has loves to play and also to laugh! Udo does need daily medication and for now would do best with no other cats. Estimated date of birth of Udo is January 23, 2011.

Uki is very curious. It takes her a while to adjust to new surroundings but she can get there. She loves to play with her toy mice and enjoys the sunshine while sitting on window ledges. Once she is comfortable in her surroundings, she finds her voice and has no shortage of stories to tell. Uki has Feline Leukemia (FeLV), which is not cancer but a lifelong virus that suppresses the immune system and can be spread between cats through casual contact (grooming, sharing water/food dishes/litter boxes). As it can result in a shorter lifespan and medical issues later in life we do not adopt out FeLV cats into homes with other cats- but it does not affect other species, and cats with FeLV can cohabit with dogs, birds, lizards, children etc. FeLV cats need patient owners with big hearts who are willing to monitor their health and understand that while their time together may not be as long it will still be filled with love and be very rewarding. Utopia is a clever boy with a heart of gold. He's talkative, affectionate, and an absolute goofball. He's a social butterfly who wants to be friends with every feline and human he meets! He'd be a great companion for homes with other pets and kids, as he's not shy or easily scared. He likes a good amount of playtime, but settles in for cuddles and purrs when it's time to unwind. If you want a cat that likes conversation, long walks on the carpet, and fine dining at the food bowl, Utopia is the cat you need! Utopia's date of birth is September 12, 2016.

Vasha is a timid kitten with a very sweet face. After being taken in on an acreage with an older cat she has come a long way to being a house cat. She's very observant and loves to be in whichever room you are. She's still not thrilled about being picked up or carried anywhere but will sit beside you on the couch and enjoy pets. She is good with other cats and could care less that dogs exist. She allows the toddler at her foster home to pet her but would be best with calmer or older children. It's very likely that in the right home she will come around more and be a cuddly cat in her own time. Estimated date of birth is June 10, 2017.

Widget is shy and gentle. Takes her sweet time when exploring her borders. Still wary about human contact but we feel confidant that once she trusts someone she will be an extremely lovable sweetheart. Socialized with her siblings and other adult cats. Loves to squish into a big pile and sleep with her sisters every night. Likes to stay cozy and is often found buried inside a blanket. She loves other cats and would like a feline playmate in her forever home. Estimated date of birth is June 5, 2017

Meet the very gorgeous Yorcat, he was found out of town in the middle of no where, he had been abandoned in a cat carrier and how long he had been there we don’t know, he some how escaped and was found close by terrified and very timid. He is around 8/10 months old and a little skittish and definitely has an aversion to pet carrier and cages. However in a home environment he is a well behaved, playful and very friendly little guy. He is available for adoption and would make a very good buddy to pretty much any household, he gets on very well with the other cats in his foster home and loves their company.
