Let’s Save Their Lives!
Your support is crucial to the work Street Cat Rescue does every day
Street Cat depends on the financial and physical support of those who believe in what we do. Whether it’s a one-time donation or an ongoing monthly contribution, a bag of food or a cat tree, there are many ways to help, and we appreciate every one.
Tax receipts are issued for every donation of $20.00 or more.
Multiply your donation by establishing a monthly contribution

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for SCAT. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to SCAT through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for SCAT to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, we will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use.

Other ways you can help:
Aluminum cat food tins: remove the labels and wash well, and drop them off at the Centre during office hours. We currently receive close to 100 pounds a month, which we recycle for cash for the cats!
Recyclable Sarcan bottles and cans: remove the lids and drop your bags of recyclable Sarcan items at the Centre during office hours. All cash received goes back to help the cats!
Join the Kitty Krafters 4 Street Cat Rescue: An amazing group of dedicated people have banded together to knit, crochet, sew and create items that Street Cat Rescue sells at fundraising events. Turn your creativity into cash for the cats!
Build winter shelters to help stray / community cats survive through Saskatoon winters. Use basic carpentry skills to create life-saving winter shelters, which we distribute throughout the city to individuals who provide food and shelter to local strays.
List Street Cat Rescue as the charity of choice for memorial donations when a loved one passes; some plan ahead and include this in their own funeral planning. Tax receipts are issued to the donors.
Include Street Cat Rescue in your will. Larger donations are possible when you include Street Cat Rescue in your overall estate planning.
Our supporters have come up with a range of creative ways to raise donations for our cats:
- Have people bring a cash contribution or an item for the cats instead of Birthday presents. This is a favorite for young peopleQ
- At weddings, have your guests give a donation to have the Bride and Groom kiss in place of tinkling glasses. A great way to raise funds and awareness!
